Where do i begin in transforming a great-looking r60/5 BMW into a cafe racer? she has drop bars only

i need to know of some parts or ideas to help start the cafe racer conversion process.i want to keep the retro look, but have more modern technology and capability/performance

I would go with clip on handle bars, get more of a squared off tank, go with number plates for the side covers, take off the mirrors, and any other accessory you don't need. No matter what you do KEEP THE CRASH BARS ON IT!!!!!!. busting a cylinder off is not cool
